Damon Hill heads the Lites class in Murray bridge - Credit: Aaryn Minerds

In the Expert Lites class Damon Hill heads into the final round with a 20 point lead over Jett Anderson with Fraser Heidrich currently in third place 46 points behind Hill.

The Lites class championship is certainly not over and with a host of riders returning for the final round who could steal valuable points away from the front runners in the championship, this class could provide the most entertaining racing of the weekend.

Daniel Banks will be lining up aboard his KTM 250 Two Stroke and will be one of the favourites heading into the round along with, Booth-Elliot who will be on double duty on the weekend racing both classes. Former state Lites Champion Tyson Whillas will line up for his second round of the series in a row and will also be in contention for a top three finish.

Also making an appearance for the first time in the senior ranks with be one of the states premier junior riders from last year in Kurt Waterman who will be on a borrowed Yamaha YZ-250F for the round.

Like the Open class though, all riders will be trying to keep tabs on Gibbs who is the clear favourite in both classes for the round.

In the premier junior classes of the 100/150cc 13-U16 years two stoke and 250F under 16 class, It is Izak Maule that leads the way.

Having only dropped one moto win so for for the series in the two stroke class, Maule heads into the final round with a 30 point lead over Nick Day with Luke Nowell a further 31 points back.

Things are a little closer in the 250F class due to in part to a tough third round for Maule, which seen him suffer a couple of big crashes which forced him to ride the majority of the day with a twisted bike.

Maule leads Tyler Lange who won round three of the series by just 18 points and after bridging the gap by 15 points at the last round Lange will go into the final round with the knowledge that anything can happen on race day and the championship win is still within his reach

Josef Oliver rounds out the top three 19 points behind Lange and will be looking at putting in a strong performance on his home track at the final round of the series.

Junior racing gets under-way from 9am on Saturday while the senior racing will be held at the same time on Sunday the 5th of August.
